I’m trying to eat a healthy organic whole food plant-based diet. I’ve noticed what a difference it has made in my life by just changing what I eat. I am not perfect and have a lot of bad food habits that are really hard to break. I love to create meals with a lot of fresh fruits and veggies and found out just how therapeutic and relaxing chopping can be, just me, my knife, and my cutting board, I love it! So that’s how I came up with the name for this blog.– Gotta Chop —
Say No to GMO’s
The FDA just doesn’t want us to know how dangerous and unhealthy GMO’s are. Genetically Modified Organisms are not only bad for our health but are a danger to our planet and the animals that live here too. You can find more info on my Say No to GMO’s page.
Kicking it up a notch…
Now I’m ready to kick it up a notch and start eliminating toxins from my health and beauty products too. Our skin is the largest organ of our body and we absorb all the toxins in our everyday products like shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, skin care products, make-up etc. I am looking for new organic and eco-friendly products to start replacing my old toxic and not so earth friendly products.
I have started using essential oils and I am blown away by all the things I am learning. There are so many cleaning, health and beauty products etc that can be made using essential oils instead of toxic ingredients. Not all essential oils are the same. You have to make sure you are using organic, pure, and therapeutic grade oils. I recommend only using Young Living Essential Oils. I became a member so I could buy all the amazing YL products at a wholesale price. As a Young Living Independent Distributor member #3907801 I would love for you to get the Premium Starter Kit (includes a ton of oils, a diffuser, and more) and go on this journey of discovery with me.
I want to start living a more green eco-friendly life and take care of our planet as our planet takes care of us. I know that I can not do it all in one day, but each day I hope to learn something new and discover new eco-friendly ways of doing things. I know I can’t do it all and become totally green, but if we all do a little something it will add up to a big something.
When life gives you lemons –
