Gluten-Free Dining Cards
BY
Going out to eat at a restaurant can be challenging when you are gluten-free. When you are shopping at the grocery store for food you can look for items that are marked gluten-free right on the package. You don’t always have that luxury at your favorite restaurants. Or maybe you are eating a new ethnic cuisine that you are not familiar with. You are not sure what ingredients are in a specific dish. Gluten can pop up when you least expect it. For example I love Chinese food, and sometimes it is hard to communicate to a Chinese speaking waitress that I need to know if gluten is in a certain dish. The Triumph Dining gluten-free dining cards are translated into the languages of that particular cuisine . So at a Chinese restaurant I would take my Chinese cuisine card and give it to my waitress. On the back side of the card it is translated into Chinese, the card can even be taken to the Chef so the Chef and the kitchen staff can read and understand what I can and cannot have. It even teaches about cross-contamination, which could easily happen in a restaurant that cooks gluten containing foods.
The Triumph Dining gluten-free dining cards are laminated. Which is good in a restaurant where you could get them wet or get food on them, and they are scored so they fold up easily and fit right in your wallet or pocket.
