I have used Konjac sponges to wash my face for a few months now and I really love the results. Lately I have used the Ashieda Konjac Sponge that they sent me to review. I have oily skin but get dry patches on my face and I have tried so many ways to exfoliate my face. I am not using commercial facial cleansers to cleanse and exfoliate my face anymore because of all the harsh chemicals and toxins. Ashieda Konjac sponges are made from natural Konjac vegetable fiber with collagen and they do not add preservatives, coloring or additives. It is completely biodegradable, naturally sustainable and environmentally safe.

The sponge exfoliates dead skin cells while leaving behind a soft film that will nourish and protect your skin with additional collagen. It can tighten and plump your skin, fight wrinkles by softening the keratin structure and repairing the elastin fiber needed to keep skin from sagging. It is safe for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

I love the way it makes my skin feel after using it, and I have very sensitive skin. I use the sponge alone without adding a cleanser. It never leaves my face irritated or red, just soft and clean feeling, never dry. I can really tell a difference with the added collagen that this sponge has that the others didn’t. The sponges really plumps up and gets very soft after it has absorbed enough water.

I have oily skin but get dry patches on my face and I have tried so many different ways to exfoliate my face. I am not using commercial facial cleansers to cleanse and exfoliate my face anymore because of all the harsh chemicals and toxins, I am looking for new “green” alternatives. My face would be so red and irritated afterwards and the next morning I would still have a few patchy dry areas.

PureSOL Konjac Facial Sponges have come to the rescue. They are so easy to use, and you don’t have to use a cleanser with them. I sometimes use a little Dr. Bronner’s Castile bar soap in the shower when I wash my face. My favorite way to use my sponge is when I get up in the morning or before bed right at my bathroom sink with just plain warm water. I just let warm water run over the sponge cupped in my hands until it becomes soft and full of water. Then I massage the konjac sponge all over my face and neck in a small circular motions. It is so easy and no mess. I was never one of those people who could splash water on my face to wash off soap without getting water everywhere. It is small enough to hold in my hand and reach those awkward areas around the nose. I also have a nostril piercing that was so hard to exfoliate around and I would always have dry skin or soap build up around it that drove me crazy. Now I gently clean around my piercing and I do not have the dry skin problem anymore… love that! Plus those pesky little blackheads that like to live on my nose are almost all gone. The texture of my skin has improved so much and my make-up goes on smoother and looks great. I will definitely be a lifelong user.

I hate standing on the hard cold tile floor in the kitchen when I am cooking or cleaning up. My legs and feet start to hurt after-awhile. So I bought a cute little rug to go in front of the sink and dishwasher area, where I spend most of my time, to provide a little cushioning for my feet. Every time I go into the kitchen the rug is always a little askew. So I take my foot and straighten it out. That gets real old, real fast.

When I had the chance to get a rug pad from Rug Pad USA I thought this could solve my problem. I have carpet in the rest of the house, so I thought how nice would it be to add some extra cushion, and stability to my area rug in the kitchen with a non-slip rug pad. Click on the Rug Pad Buying Guide and it will explain to you exactly which pad will work best with your rug and floor. There are seven different rug pad types to choose from: Premium Lock, Super-Lock Natural, Econo-Lock Natural, Superior-Lock, Eco-Solid, Eco-Cushion and Eco-Fiber 100% felt.

It was time to pick my rug pad out — I chose “Rug Pads for Stone/Tile” then that opened up a page with a small FAQ section at the top, to answer any questions I may have. Below that I chose what material I wanted my rug pad to be made of. Each type of pad is scored on a scale of 1-5 on three categories — cushion, durability and grip. I knew that I wanted a 5 in grip and definitely a 5 in cushion, so I looked for a pad that scored all 5’s. I chose the Premium Lock it was perfect for my kitchen floor with a 5 in all three categories. Now it is time to choose the size. I can choose the thickness, the shape, and the size I need. There is even the option to choose a custom cut size just for you, then just add it to your cart and check out, it was that easy, and my rug pad was on its way.

I love my Rug Pad USA pad, my area rug in the kitchen stays put and it has such a nice cushion under it. Now it is a pleasure to cook and stand on that hard floor. I am not tripping over my area rug anymore and it is not sliding all over the kitchen floor anymore and I am not constantly having to straighten it up every time I walk through the kitchen. The rug pad does NOT have that awful toxic chemical smell and is not damaging my floor at all. Since I am trying to go green as much as possible and get rid of harsh chemicals and toxins from my home, I was very pleased to find an eco-friendly company that makes such a quality product.
