I have oily skin but get dry patches on my face and I have tried so many different ways to exfoliate my face. I am not using commercial facial cleansers to cleanse and exfoliate my face anymore because of all the harsh chemicals and toxins, I am looking for new “green” alternatives. My face would be so red and irritated afterwards and the next morning I would still have a few patchy dry areas.

PureSOL Konjac Facial Sponges have come to the rescue.  They are so easy to use, and you don’t have to use a cleanser with them.  I sometimes use a little Dr. Bronner’s Castile bar soap in the shower when I wash my face. My favorite way to use my sponge is when I get up in the morning or before bed right at my bathroom sink with just plain warm water. I just let warm water run over the sponge cupped in my hands until it becomes soft and full of water. Then I  massage the konjac sponge all over my face and neck in a small circular motions.  It is so easy and no mess. I was never one of those people who could splash water on my face to wash off soap without getting water everywhere. It is small enough to hold in my hand and reach those awkward areas around the nose.  I also have a nostril piercing that was so hard to exfoliate around and I would always have dry skin or soap build up around it that drove me crazy. Now I gently clean around my piercing and I do not have the dry skin problem anymore… love that!  Plus those pesky little blackheads that like to live on my nose are almost all gone.  The texture of my skin has improved so much and my make-up goes on smoother and looks great. I will definitely be a lifelong user.

 Quoted from PureSOL–

Konjac is a moisture rich plant fibre which is by nature alkaline, and thus balances the acidity of the skin’s impurities and oils. The unique net like structure of the sponge gently massages the skin, breaks down dirt, stimulates blood flow and new growth of skin cells. Leaving the skin extremely clean and refreshed!

Oleavine Konjac Facial Beauty Sponge Review

Oleavine Konjac Facial Beauty Sponge

Biodegradable – Natural & Handmade – Vegan Friendly

No Chemicals Added – No Artificial Colors Added – No Preservatives

If you have been looking for an exfoliating facial beauty sponge, look no further. The Oleavine Konjac sponge infused with activated charcoal is everything you are looking for. It gently exfoliates, cleanses, it is naturally pH balanced, promotes circulation, absorbs toxins, fights bacteria, and refreshes your skin. Plant based Konjac sponges have been a beauty secret in Asian cultures for decades.

Oleavine Konjac sponges are made from 100% pure Konjac grown from the volcanic plains of the protected Jeju Island in South Korea and infused with bamboo charcoal.

The bamboo charcoal contains activated carbon and minerals that draw out excess oils, absorb toxins and help fight acne causing bacteria. The exfoliating sponge is gentle enough to use everyday even on sensitive skin. You can use the sponge alone or with your favorite cleanser. The teardrop shapes helps you to exfoliate gently around the sensitive skin around your eyes. The sponge is also large enough to use on your entire body if you choose.

My daughter Hilary has been using the Oleavine Konjac sponge for a few weeks now and she loves it.  I could tell a big difference in the texture of her skin after she had been using it for a few days. Her skin seemed smooth and more radiant. I asked Hilary how she likes it and she said she can definitely tell a difference in her skin. You can use the sponge with or without using a liquid cleanser with it. Hilary chose to use her sponge with her normal cleanser. She went on to tell me how much nicer her liquid foundation goes on her skin now too. The dry patches have been exfoliated leaving her with smoother more even skin.  Hilary spent two nights away from home and forgot to take her Oleavine sponge with her.  When she got back home she couldn’t wait to clean and exfoliate her face with it. She realized what a difference not having her sponge made. Hilary is really pleased with the results from the Oleavine Konjac sponge and will continue to use it as part of her beauty routine.
